When traveling to different parts of the world, it is quite obvious that the United States has it’s own beauty. The topography of the United States is extremely vast. On the east coast, there is the Atlantic Ocean which has the mountains and the beach, along with Florida and the beautiful beaches. On the west coast there is the beautiful pacific ocean with beaches and mountains galore. Perfect for skiing, and surfing. The foot hill regions of the United States are especially beautiful places to visit and explore. There are the foothill regions of North Carolina, Colorado, Los Angeles, South Carolina and San Gabriel Valley. These foothill regions boast beautiful lakes and streams, green hills that are lush with vegetation, and breathtaking natural beauty. Some of these areas even have waterfalls bustling over huge rocks. These areas are ancient and were at once occupied by native americans. Many times these areas are left unharmed by commercial buildings and pollution. They are left preserved, and for the most part, the natural beauty is left intact. During the fall, the leaves on the trees in the foothill regions turn gorgeous shades of yellow, orange and red. The beautiful foothills are a must for anyone to visit through out the country of the United States.
